Job Description

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for a wide range of support functions to facilitate and coordinate various Human Resources programs including talent acquisition, benefits, payroll and wellness.  This position will also manage Affinius’ reception desk, acting as a welcoming first point of contact for employees and guests. Assists in the administration of ongoing processes such as recruitment and benefits.

Essential Duties: 

  • Greet and assist Affinius guests and answer inquiries while providing a positive first impression of the firm.
  • Answer phones, take messages and relay those messages to the appropriate parties.
  • Assist with conference room(s) set up, break down and tidying.
  • Assist with coordinating and facilitating the recruitment process, to include scheduling interviews and making travel arrangements.
  • Assist with university initiatives such as managing event registrations, travel coordination and preparing and shipping materials for career fairs.
  • Maintain office security by controlling access via the reception desk and issuing employee and temporary badges in accordance with security badge policies.
  • Update and maintain company organizational chart and email distribution lists.
  • Assist with HR team corporate card processing and ordering corporate cards for new employees.
  • Prepares Human Resources invoices for payment. 
  • Assist with various HR essential functions, special projects and report generation as assigned.
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years prior experience in a customer service or administrative role. Recruitment and HR experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Highly organized; with strong follow-through and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Workday experience is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to handle confidential records and documents and maintain the highest level of confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Ability to work on site in the company’s San Antonio office full-time.
  • Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.
